Ajax is a wireless security system that in just a few years has become one of the most popular choices for small and medium-sized businesses worldwide. It is praised for things usually attributed to consumer electronics rather than alarm systems: design, ease of installation and a convenient mobile app.
At the same time, behind the stylish casing is a fully professional platform — secure Jeweller radio protocol, central monitoring station support, dozens of sensor types and tight integration with video surveillance.
How it works
At the heart of the system is a Hub. It connects to the internet via Ethernet, WiFi or 3G/4G and communicates with the sensors over a secure proprietary radio protocol. When an alarm is triggered, the hub sends you a push notification and a signal to the monitoring station at the same time.
For the user the whole system lives in one mobile app: arming and disarming, event history, battery status, automation scenarios.
What you can protect
A house or apartment
- MotionProtect motion sensors in key rooms.
- DoorProtect on the front door, windows or safe.
- FireProtect and LeaksProtect for fire and flood detection.
- GlassProtect on large shop windows and glazing.
- Personal panic Button for emergencies.
Shop, café or office
- Perimeter and storage room protection via motion and glass-break sensors.
- Panic buttons at the till and at the manager’s desk.
- Controlled access to stock areas.
- Night-time alarm monitoring with signal forwarding to a security company.
- Integration with CCTV: on alarm, the NVR saves clips from the relevant cameras.
Why Ajax
- Fully wireless installation — no need to chase walls in a finished interior.
- Sensor batteries last 5–7 years under typical operating conditions.
- Two-way radio channel: the hub always sees whether a command arrived and monitors each device’s status.
- Rigorous civil certification: EN 50131 Grade 2, insurance-company approvals in Europe.
- The mobile app is equally polished on iOS and Android.
Sensors and technology
The Ajax range now includes more than 40 devices: outdoor motion detectors with pet immunity up to 35 kg, anti-masking sensors, electrical control modules, photo-capturing MotionCam detectors, sirens, range extenders and keypads.
This means the same hub can power a small apartment or a large warehouse — the security logic and the user experience remain the same.
Mobile app and cloud
Everything the user does happens inside a single app. You see the floor plan, all the sensors on it, the status of every device and the full event history. You can create multiple arming groups (day/night, for example) and assign different roles to family members, staff or the security company.
Conclusion
Ajax is a grown-up security system with the face of a consumer product. We install it in family homes, small shops, café chains and office centres — wherever the customer needs a working security system quickly, without renovation and without convoluted interfaces.
