InfoComm Asia 2026: Professional AV Trends from an Integrator's Perspective

Why we attend InfoComm Asia, and which trends will shape 2026 orders — LED replacing projection, hybrid conference rooms, AV-over-IP, and AI in audio/video processing.

Why We Attend InfoComm Asia 2026

For our team, InfoComm Asia is not just an exhibition — it's an annual checkpoint with the global professional audio-video market. We design and install AV systems in Thailand, and this is where we see which equipment will arrive in hotels, conference centres and corporate offices of Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya over the next 6–12 months. In this article — our integrator's view on which technologies will define 2026 orders.

Trend 1. LED Replaces Projection

Fine-pitch LED panels (1.2–1.8 mm pixel pitch) are getting cheaper and increasingly outperform projectors in meeting rooms and hotel lobbies. We are already specifying LED video walls in projects where a projector + screen used to be the default: less maintenance, higher brightness in lit spaces, flexible geometry. At InfoComm we look at new controllers and colour calibration systems.

Trend 2. Hybrid Conference Rooms as Standard

Post-pandemic, "hybrid" is no longer optional. Clients want rooms equally convenient for in-person and remote attendees: auto-tracking cameras, ceiling microphone arrays, echo cancellation, seamless Teams/Zoom integration. For Thailand's hotel MICE segment this is a direct revenue source — and we design such rooms turnkey.

Trend 3. AV-over-IP and the Network Shift

Matrix switchers are giving way to IP-based signal distribution (SDVoE, Dante AV, NDI). This simplifies scaling and remote management, but requires competent network design. WLTT has an advantage here: as a telecom company, we design structured cabling and AV as a unified infrastructure.

Trend 4. AI in Audio & Video Processing

Neural network noise reduction, auto-framing, room occupancy analytics — AI is entering AV at the firmware level. For the customer this means fewer manual adjustments and stable picture/sound quality without a dedicated operator.

What This Means for Business in Thailand

Growing MICE tourism and business activity in Bangkok drives demand for modern AV rooms, digital signage and streaming systems. At WLTT we help select equipment for the task and budget, design and install the system, then maintain it.
