KYMA Beach Bar by Smigo's is a beachfront restaurant-bar on Patong Beach, Phuket, located right on the shoreline. It is one of the venues we manage end-to-end: from network infrastructure design and restaurant automation to ongoing technical support since 2024.

WiFi and LAN: MikroTik for a beach club

In the summer of 2024 we deployed MikroTik WiFi with guest and operational network separation. We ran structured cabling for POS equipment: receipt printers, kitchen printers and POS terminals — all wired for maximum reliability. Separate cable runs were installed for sound equipment. Restaurant automation: Syrve POS

In August 2024 we delivered Syrve POS automation: supplied POS terminals for checkout and waiter stations, selected smartphones for tableside order-taking, and configured receipt and kitchen printers. Technical support since 2024

Since the launch in 2024 we have been providing ongoing technical support for KYMA Beach Bar by Smigo's. We deliver rapid assistance both online — remote diagnostics and configuration — and through on-site engineer visits directly at the venue.

Challenging location: sea, salt and humidity

The club's location right on the seafront places extreme demands on equipment maintenance. Salt-laden sea air and high humidity aggressively attack electronics: contacts oxidise faster, enclosures are prone to corrosion, and WiFi equipment and printers require regular preventive maintenance.

This is exactly why KYMA needs not only a high-quality initial installation, but ongoing professional maintenance. Our engineers carry out preventive inspections on the client's request, promptly replace components and monitor the entire infrastructure — keeping the restaurant running smoothly in every season.

We always keep a replacement stock of POS equipment — printers, power supplies and POS terminals (all-in-one touchscreen units) — ready to go. This minimises downtime: faulty equipment is swapped on site while repairs are carried out in the workshop.
