In March 2025 our team supported a run of events at Lotus Arena in Phuket. Event venues are a genre of their own for us: everything must be deployed quickly, tuned to a specific programme, run without glitches during showtime, and taken down cleanly afterwards.
What we delivered on site
- Syrve POS: bars, food points, merchandise area — one menu database, one end-to-end report for the event.
- Temporary WiFi network for staff and service devices (KDS, kitchen printers, server tablets).
- Video surveillance for venue safety and crowd-flow monitoring.
- On-call engineering support on event day — an engineer "in the jacket" on the radio with the venue manager.

Why events are harder than restaurants
A restaurant has a luxury called time. You can build it out over weeks and iron out the kinks across a season. An event has no such luxury: the venue is ready yesterday, guests arrive tomorrow. Every tiny issue — a failing receipt printer, a weak WiFi signal at the bar, a Syrve terminal that froze — becomes a queue and lost revenue.
We run event jobs on a dedicated process: pre-flight testing on a rig, duplicates for critical devices, tight labelling, a setup/teardown schedule, and a standby engineer on comms. Syrve POS is deployed with the menu and user accounts pre-loaded so cashiers and bartenders can start working immediately.
«Event success is 80% preparation and 20% showtime — never the other way around.»
What the organiser gets
- POS that keeps moving — no queues, no freezes.
- Stable WiFi for all service equipment.
- Video surveillance as both a safety layer and an incident-review tool.
- A single revenue and transactions report right after the event.
- One contractor and one contact for every question.
If you are running a concert, festival, chef's table dinner or corporate event in Thailand — we will prepare the technical plan for POS, network and CCTV, deploy the hardware on site, and provide engineer standby for the event.
