Thailand Smart City Expo 2026: Smart City & Infrastructure — WLTT’s View

Why This Expo Matters for Us

Thailand Smart City Expo is Southeast Asia’s leading B2B platform for smart city technologies and solutions. In 2026 it runs 18–20 November at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok. For WLTT this is a core event: a large part of any “smart city” is networks, video surveillance, IoT infrastructure and AV systems — exactly what we design and install across Thailand.

For full event and logistics info — dates, program, registration and how to get there — see the Thailand Smart City Expo 2026 overview we put together with our travel partner.

2026 Theme & Market Context

The expo runs under the theme “City Intelligence: Predict | Prevent | Protect” — focusing on big data, AI and predictive analytics for managing urban risks. The event is tied directly to Thailand’s national strategy to build 105 “smart cities” by 2027, a large-scale digitalization and infrastructure program. For system integrators this means rising demand for network infrastructure, security and automation nationwide.

Sectors Closest to WLTT

The exhibition spans nine sectors — from Smart Telecom to Smart Healthcare. The ones directly tied to our practice are:

1. Smart Telecom & Network Infrastructure

5G/6G, IoT infrastructure, networking hardware. Every “smart” site starts with reliable structured cabling, Wi-Fi and switching. We design and build cabling and wireless coverage as the foundation for every other system.

2. Smart Living & Building Automation

Smart home, automation, IoT control of building systems. WLTT implements lighting, climate and access-control scenarios for villas, hotels and commercial sites in Thailand.

3. Security & Video Analytics

CCTV with neural-network analytics, recognition and access control — the building-level layer of any smart city. This is one of our core competencies.

4. AV & Digital Information Systems

LED screens, digital signage, public address and broadcast systems — how “smart” infrastructure communicates with people in public spaces.

Who Should Attend

  • System integrators and IT contractors — new equipment and platforms for projects.
  • Hotel, mall and condominium owners — ideas for automation and site security.
  • Developers and property managers — infrastructure solutions for new projects.
  • Manufacturers and suppliers — access to the ASEAN market and B2B contacts.

WLTT delivers the full cycle: site audit, design, equipment supply, installation, commissioning and service — networks, CCTV, AV and automation. Planning a smart site in Thailand? Contact us — we’ll design a solution for your task.
