In March 2025 we completed a major project for YUUHI Beach Club & Karaoke in the Cherng Talay area of Phuket. The format is complex: beach club, restaurant and karaoke on one property, plus open terraces along the water. That means WiFi must push through concrete walls and, at the same time, work under the canopies by the water; CCTV must cover both the indoor rooms and the open area; and the POS must process payments reliably under heavy load in the evening and at night.
Project scope
- Hikvision IP video surveillance: dining rooms, bar, karaoke area, entrances, parking, the beachside perimeter.
- MikroTik-based WiFi with a CAPsMAN controller — centralised management of the access points, seamless roaming across zones.
- Guest WiFi isolated from the service network, light authentication for visitors.
- Syrve POS for the restaurant and bar, integrated into the venue infrastructure.
- Structured cabling, server room, UPS power.
Why CAPsMAN for a venue like this
CAPsMAN is MikroTik's controller for centrally managing access points. It fits venues where WiFi has to be dense, seamless and flexibly configured at the same time: separate SSIDs for guests, staff, POS and karaoke equipment — all managed from a single pane.
At YUUHI we deployed several access points in the highest-density zones, put outdoor APs on the terraces, and enabled 802.11k/v/r seamless roaming. A guest walks from the terrace into the main room without dropping a connection.
Hikvision: CCTV for a beach club
We picked a mix of Hikvision IP camera form factors: indoor domes for the rooms and karaoke, outdoor wide-dynamic-range models for the terraces, outdoor IR models for the perimeter. Recording goes to an NVR with redundancy and remote access from the owner's phone.
Syrve POS — our restaurant standard
As a Syrve Certified Partner in Thailand, we rolled out the POS system for the YUUHI restaurant and bar. Staff train quickly — the interface is intuitive — and the owner gets clear reports on revenue, average check, top sellers and shift performance.
YUUHI Beach Club & Karaoke is a good example of how a well-designed low-voltage build, one unified network and a sensible POS make a complex multi-zone venue manageable and predictable to run.
